Thanks Duncan! We have had a wonderful day – the turkey was delicious (what great stuffing!)and everything went without a hitch, although it was 39 degrees Celsius outside… that’s 102.2 Fahrenheit. A scorcher, in anyone’s language.
Everyone loved their gifts, and we all had a siesta.
It’s over for another year here Down Under!
I hope you and yours have a similarly successful celebration.
We’re in the midst of Christmas day Up Over (or whatever you call the northern part of the orb). Oddly enough, we have a turkey in the oven AND three Australians in the house (my son-in-law is Australian).
The weather… not so nice. A few degrees below freezing and gloomy. When you see this sort of weather, it is easy to understand why the ancients associated this time of year with death :o)
